With less than 24 hours to go until the first live, in-person meeting of the Nowspeed Network, we’d like to take just a moment to review the agenda for those who are planning to attend.
Yes, the event will take place Tuesday, October 28 – bright and early, from 8-10 AM – at the Westborough Business Park Conference Center at 200 Friberg Parkway in Westborough, MA. If you need directions, just follow this link, type in your “start address” and go.
The first order of business at our meeting tomorrow will be to take just a few minutes to get more acquainted with one another. We’ll serve coffee, juice, bagels, pastries and fresh fruit from Panera Bread and then go around the room and introduce ourselves.
Next, Dave Reske, founder of Nowspeed and our host for the morning, will say a few words and set the stage for our two featured presentations, including mine on “How to Build Your Own Blog and Social Media Marketing Plan.” After Dave and I speak, Jen Brady from UMass Online will present a fascinating case study, talking about her experience with the UMass Online Blog. And toward the conclusion of our morning together, there will be time for questions, answers and discussion.
As just a small token of appreciation, everyone who comes to this event will receive a $10 gift card from Starbucks. In the spirit of business networking, we’re hoping that those in attendance will consider using this card to treat someone else in the Nowspeed Network to a cup of coffee.
And as yet another component to our own social media marketing initiatives, we’ve created a very special group exclusively for Nowspeed Network members on LinkedIn. We’re thrilled to see that a number of folks have already signed up there and posted a few comments.
Even more good news is that if you’re not planning to attend, we plan to post about the event here on Internet Marketing Strategies and Secrets as soon as we possibly can afterwards. So whether we see you or not on Tuesday morning, we look forward to continuing the discussion with you right here on our own blog.
